About Me
Dondrell Whitmore is an accomplished and talented
professional basketball specialist with over 20 years of
experience on and off the court, providing competitive
athletes with skills for collegiate and national basketball
exposure.
In his tenure, Mr. Whitmore coached and managed highly
ranked Maryland programs, such as, Sherwood High
School, Blake High School, and Montrose Christian
Academy. His accomplishments extend to winning
Maryland’s 2015 Governor’s Challenge Championship, the
2014 NCSAA Basketball Championship, the 2012
Maryland 4A Regional Championship and the Maryland
4A Division, Regional and State Championship in 2007.
He was named Coach of the Year in 2007 by the
Washington Post D.C. Examiner.
Mr. Whitmore also coach and trained numerous basketball
players with full athletic scholarships to collegiate division
level programs and top-ranked NBA programs. (Patrick
McCaw-Golden State Warriors, Allonzo Trier-New York
Knicks, and Jarrell Brantley-Utah Jazz).
Dondrell Whitmore earned a B.A. in Sociology at Western
Carolina University. As a player on Western Carolina’s
Division I Basketball Program, he scored more than 1000
game points in his career. Upon graduating, he went on to
have an outstanding professional career for several years
as a shooting guard in Finland, Iceland, Luxembourg, and
Belgium. He currently resides in Maryland with his wife
and children.
